[SWAN/Complex] Act Recapitulation
SWAN (Story Without A Name) and Complex are embedded into each other as a one story in the beginning.
Complex tells the story from the a view of a human named Oliver, while SWAN enriches it with more precise background on the whole demon/god universe. I will talk about the main stories first before we move into the whole next gen thing. There are 3 gens of characters at the moment.
1st gen> Vincent, Oliver, Yami.. etc
2nd gen> Olivia, James, Rei, (kind of) Freya.. etc
3rd gen> Max, Peyin, Lilith.. etc
I'd like to start with the main story recapitulation; Complex first:
[Characters of the 1st generation]
• Complex: The First Act
The story introduces a boy named Oliver (you can find his background info here ) who was once captured by a secret government corporation involved in immoral paranormal testing and human experimentation called CFBW (Complex For Biological Weapons). The whole operation lies in the discovery of another dimension called Andere Welt, in other words- The Supernatural Realm. Other than having access a whole new world, humans invented a machine; Interfaced Vitaarca v7.3.1 (So-called 'Pandora's Box') by which they were able to capture and seal otherworldy beings and insert them into human hosts. Before Oliver was brought to CFBW, there was a very successful attack on the Supernatural Realm, a demon king of Lust- Vincent was captured in the battle. The scientists couldn't find a host that would fit Vincent's tremendous power until Oliver appeared and became a host for the demon. Thus he was signed as Subject #506 in the CFBW test-subject database system.
With Lust's power, Oliver was capable of horrifying things, though- he escaped and for a long time, he lived with a friend he's made when locked away in the complex, his own assigned psychologist who also helped him escape from there, Jeremy. He was actually captured few times after that, but always almost immediately found his way to escape again. One day, however, Oliver meets a strange creature. A fox demon named Yami. She was robbed of her powers by the Goddess of Purity and sent onto the Earth in the shape of a black fox who'd turn into her humanoid form by night. She used to be Vincent's knight back in the Demon Realm and it's unknown if it was a pure coincidence for Oliver and Yami to meet. Nonetheless, the two together with Jeremy would frequently start to spend time together 'till overtime, Oliver became sick of his own life as a host and with Lust who misguided him with his alluring words- Oliver decided he would end the life of Earth once and for all with enough power consumed through Vincent's capability. Jeremy, Yami and his old now once again befriended friend Tatyana tried to stop him and wreck his horrid idea, but in vain, Oliver took a whole new monstrous form and began destroying whatever stood in his way. His plan was but defeated by Tatyana herself who has used the force of her own subject powers to pull him out of his berserk transformation and free Vincent from Oliver's now slowly dying body. Jeremy, who has been a host all this time as well, was spared of his misery which was a God of Freedom named Libreto. Yami, Libreto and Vincent returned to their world before CFBW could arrive on the scene and take action. Tatyana fled far away, while Jeremy still wasn't suspicious enough to be taken care of by his employer.
• Complex: The Second Act
While it might've looked like Oliver has dramatically died, he's been given a second chance while slowly drifting into death he so didn't want to end his life with. So whilst paused within a moment of his consciousness, he's encountered something in the dark. An entity called Chaos. It offered Oliver a second life in exchange for basically nothing but completing his failed task; he would destroy the mankind for what they've done. Oliver immediately accepted and with his new achieved force, he was prepared to murder- then again, before he was even capable to open his eyes from his demonic resurrection, the CFBW sealed him inside the Pandora's Box and was later on sealed within a child named Aiden back at the complex. Similarly to Oliver's past, Aiden gained powers quite the same as once Oliver. But the side effects and agonizing pain led Aiden to escape the facility together with his young love interest, Freya, who was also the daughter of Oliver and Tatyana before he snapped and turned his back on the world in the first act. She was captured right after Tatyana fled and gave birth to her. She was supposed to be the first adept for the seal insertion of Chaos, but Aiden ruined the experiment and the demon was sealed inside of him instead. Now, not long after they've escaped the complex, when wandering outside in the search of Tatyana who must've been alive as well, once again, the children meet Yami who was visiting the world of humans as soon as she sensed the ominous power of something evil slumbering back on Earth. However, a car crashed into her when she was crossing a busy road in her fox form and Freya decided to take care of the wounded 'animal'. They travelled together, Freya, Aiden and Yami who now knew she was facing the dreaded entity of Chaos inside that boy. She suspected the demon's plans, but couldn't bring herself to hurt Aiden. Sometime later, Tatyana finally finds her daughter and they're about to live a good life in a cosy wooden hut hidden within a forest far away from the pursuing corporation. Tables turn quickly when Chaos has had enough and Aiden loses control over himself when accidentally cutting himself. Tatyana, who still possessed her powers, but weakened by the time- tried to protect her daughter but met a tragic fate of death. Yami was the only one who was capable of protecting little Freya now but was oddly nauseatic, she was successful at taming the beast but it turned out she was in the very early stages of pregnancy with Vincent back in the demon realm after visiting a doctor, an heir to the throne. Chaos sensed it. Freya was now orphaned together with Aiden while Yami taking care of them partially, however it was about time she told Vincent about the grave danger of Chaos' presence on Earth. He didn't hesitate, killing Aiden was the only way to save both worlds, but Yami didn't support his cruel decisions and searched for a different way. She felt bad for Aiden, but it was already too late when poor Aiden couldn't contain it anymore, he grew tired and weak and eventually succumbed to Chaos who took over and made his way into the realm of demons straightway. Abandoned Freya found out about herself and her mother's info back in Tatyana's house, shocked to see that she is Oliver's child, but also discovering she had a step-brother and step-mother, it was her new goal to find them. Turns out that Oliver has had a sexual intercourse with a prostitute once when under the influence of Lust back in the day and she gave birth to a boy named Myuto, he lived in Korea with his mother, she kept the whole rape thing in secret for a long time until one day, Freya meets both of her step-relatives and the truth is out.
Meanwhile, back in the Demon Realm, Chaos stacks and accumulates power, hidden in the shadows, feeding of darkness and growing his own army of disarray, corrupted spies and observers watch the situation until Chaos is ready to strike and slaughter his main target, Vincent, who's been living a solid life back in Limbo. Not long after he's returned back to Limbo, however, Vincent declared peace and alliance between Gods and Demons who rivalled against each other since the creation of their worlds. With their newly created union, they hope for easier protection of their kingdoms and helping each other out, becoming one of the most prosperous eras of their history. Time has finally come and the battle escalated into a great war in which Vincent was almost killed together with his young daughter Olivia, the unborn child within Yami who Chaos sensed back on Earth. Nearly taking life of Yami's beloved husband and daughter, her snapping 'caused her to gain so much power, she was able to actually purify Oliver, pull him out of his Chaos powers back into his human form, sparing him with mercy and sent him on Earth where he, finally as a mere human, returned to his family; Freya and Myuto. As for the demons, Yami's temporary condition shattered and turned back to normal. Vincent and Olivia survived their absolutely severe injuries and continued repairing the damage cast onto the realm.
As for Jeremy from the first act, he's been still working for CFBW, even though he hated his job, the income was heavily needed. While working there though, he's met a girl named Sasha, a subject and a host of a demon. After some time, they develop a strong bond between each other in the meantime while interacting. Not long after what has happened in the first act, a group of protesters against CFBW called the Anti-CFBW attempt to overthrow and destroy the corrupted corporation, their attacks are more than successful and soon enough, CFBW faces bankruptcy. Jeremy is discharged and fired with the rest of the secondary employees, the subjects, however, are being transported and imprisoned still, except for some individuals who could escape, Sasha including. Jeremy decides to take Sasha in and eventually, they plan out their future journeys and travel around the world together.
NOTE: Now I'll (try to) explain the history of Vincent and the realms of Gods and Demons.
I'll be describing it from the view of Vincent most likely, will do my best to put it coherently so you understand the whole thing. I'm sorry it sounds so cheesy, it's absolutely not as if written by a 13-year-old, trust me, this is art in my head. Also if you see any typos and errors, let me know or just ignore it. I've been writing this for 3 days and I keep losing track of things.
• SWAN: History of the Realms | Vincent's Life | The First Act
Once upon a time, there was an entity of great power, neutral to both forces. The Force of evil and force of good, the so-called Higher Being, providing balance to both essences. This divine existence created a world, a Paradise in which its children were created. Eve was a peaceful, charming and overflowing with wisdom, she proceeds to fall in love with a malignant creature, a demonic presence of ill-fate, Sin. He as well falls in love with her. Years later they have their first child, a demon of Greed named Victor. Sly and devious, smart but tough. The family lives happily, two opposite forces capable of understanding each other, but not for long. Sin starts to distance himself, but so does Eve. Their bonds break and Eve is taken ill for her broken heart, a disease spreads through her body like a plague until she eventually dies. Before her last moments, however, she gives birth to another son, a gentle divinity, a God of Will named Vincent. The poor orphaned descendants are left alone, only to care for each other, besides that though, Victor becomes more and more independent while young Vincent clings onto his older brother who's now also being mocked and picked on by the holy and saint beings. After Eve and Sin broke up their bond, the world fell apart into two realms of opposite kind. One occupied by demons and hellish beings alike, the other one was pure and untouched, praised with holiness. The exact world Victor and Vincent were left behind, while Vincent was more or less safe with his own kind, Victor grew vicious towards his sibling and after some time, unable to bear the burden anymore, he left him behind and escaped into the Realm of Demons. Suprised youthful god determinedly but stubbornly chose to follow his brother's path into the other world, feeling lonely and deserted was disheartening, but with the power of will, he managed to settle within one of the demonic cities without anyone noticing, ultimately growing up there, secluded from the ruthless creatures. One demon, however, however, was an odd-man-out, a shark demon called Aster Hojiro. They were around the same age and got along together just fine, Aster would keep him company and sometimes even cook delicious foods for Vincent. One day, Vincent met an enchanting demoness, Lycia, the ruler of Wildness and a princess, daughter of an old king. Seduced god immediately fell for her generous, cunning nature. So did she, for he was caring and gentle, quite the farsighted contrary of herself. He later found out about her royal blood, but that didn't stand in their way of meetings and growing passionate love between each other, Vincent awoken and already planning their escape so they could be together forever was but suddenly stroke pale and speechless upon a devastating, crushing discovery. The door was opened with force, a reckless army of demons grasped the struggling god, dragged along to be presented to a demonic ruler, an old man with elk horns raised up majestically, the father of Lycia, king Cervos. A man who upon discovering his daughter's secret lover executed her by beheading, for she has been stained by the blood of holy man and bastard of the Sin and Eve, she's become a disgrace and dishonour to her own kind. As for grieving Vincent, the fair fate of death wasn't prepared. Instead, the only thing he faced was a prison, he would rot there until the day he dies. It would be risky for the demons to kill the very descendant the High Being's foremost creations, Sin preferred, not to mention the gods would think that the insolent demons are trying to start a war of the largest calibre. Thus Vincent was sentenced to a life in gruesome conditions among all the corrupt scum already rotting away in the ice cold complex of cells. As the time goes by, all that suffocated anger and bloodthirst which Vincent stewed inside for so long, starts to eat through him, consume him, wicked thoughts and impious mind corrupts the god as the last remains of his heavenly hope soak in a bloody matter of the man he once was. That's when he surrenders to the obscure seed growing and blooming into a demonic spite and ire. His white sclera steeps in ink of blackness, just like his heart of stone, vengeful Vincent breaks out of his prison cell, as a consequence of his tremendous havoc and destruction, he frees all the sanguivorous demons, worst of the worst, maniacs and murderers, all to make his bidding as their new leader. Occupying and taking control over the city little by little, enslaving and searching for his game's pawns. Obfuscated by vengeance and need for more power, Vincent sought out an ancient orb of power, one of three main orbs containing a terrific amount of power unseen by any living thing, a power so big, it would kill if somebody just tried to touch it. These power orbs were created by the Higher Being itself, hidden forbidden fruit of life. The legend says, that all three orbs combined give out the exact amount of force to that of the Higher Being itself, but nobody knows for sure, Vincent, however, found one. While others were certain of his death, Vincent's determination led him getting a hold of one, his unique origin allowed him to hold the orb, but Vincent's crude foul mouth and disrespect towards to sacred object only sealed his fate with refusal. The demon inflamed with wrath insomuch as he was rejected to be lent power, he shoved the orb down his gullet and forced it down. Agony beyond measures was the only thing Vincent felt upon devouring it, the orb cracked with pressure and twirled inside the man's gut, depriving him of some of his organs a black hole formed within, leaving Vincent as a strained, heartless shell, bottomless pit howling in ache - voracious monstrum was born. His hair's chestnut brown fainted, sallowed, until it turned into deathly white. His skin couldn't get any paler, the blood flowing through his veins burnt dark and dense while his men made haste to help their chief. The first thing that came to his mind when he saw his retinue approaching was a crave, a crave of hunger, something which would stop the unbelievable pain of his sudden overwhelming famine. But in the process of thought- the man turned into a white reptilian beast, a dragon shaped like a snake, huge and fearsome. It let out a horrifying shriek echoing through the entire underground of the orb's sacred shrine, to the outside where the rest of his army waited. Together with Aster, who joined him on Vincent's offer. The dragon swirled itself in its skin and around the collapsing debris of the sanctuary, heading for his trapped men struggling to get away from the beast only to be trapped into its maw and gulped down plainly. The dragon flew out into the sky swiftly, flying above and high, leading his army to Cervos' palace. The battle has begun. Vincent's army penetrated all of the king's defences, while the two sides clashed and fought for their leaders, Vincent and Cervos had their final showdown. Cervos tried to reason with Vincent who turned back into his former form at the arrival, he felt sorry for the old man in a mockery, refusing to debate with words but fight to the death. Cervos had no other option, so he picked up his trident to fend off Vincent's forceful attacks. Cervos hereupon swung his weapon and left a hideous scratch mark over Vincent's face, leaving three deep lines gaping while black blood poured down like waterfalls. Vincent let out a cry. The old king was stunned by his own hit and his opponent's incoming blows. Cervos was unable to defend himself anymore, at some point of him giving up to tiredness, Vincent landed a direct stroke to the man and hurled the elder few meters ahead. He didn't even beg for mercy, the cruel beast devoured its prize and howled victoriously. Knights of the king fell in despair and surrendered to Vincent. He grabbed the only thing that was left of Cervos, the trident. He made it his own new weapon, infecting the object with his own obscure disease.
Years later, Vincent has successfully overthrown the kingdom of Limbo and became its new ruler, a remorseless tyrant with an insatiable craving for vital sacrifices and offerings. Masked away from shame and his scarred face, the God of Will became the Demon of Lust. He was but no fool, making contact with his other neighbouring kingdoms and rulers. He kept rather unusual bonds with them, blackmailing them for their land or they would be raided, or worse- overthrown with force. All of the stubborn tiny monarchs who ignored his threats ended up, well, you can imagine therefore it's quite obvious. As for the smarter ones, Limbo has grown exponentially over the course of years with Vincent at the throne. He's befriended a bunch of bigger and much more important rulers throughout his meetings such as; Tsumuri Shinju; An emperor of the Sea Empire, the second largest region of the Demon Realm after Limbo. A shrimp demon, who despite the fact, was a lunatic - immoral trash hidden behind a fake innocent smile., Ushia Sonoda was a Queen with a savage attitude. An Ox demoness who drank away her problems, she's suffered a great loss if anyone's wondering, she's a tough one to crack., Miyamoto Hakasawa; 'Perverted pain in the ass' as described by Vincent. This devil is riddled with deviousness and dishonesty, he'd rather chase women and make unfair deals than helping out his colleagues. Sadist., Kyoku Yugure, extravagant Baroness of her underworld, where night is the only time and evil laugh is the only light. She rules with an iron fist, having under her wings all kinds of monsters and demons, the population being very multiracial., Tonba Quinyang; A dragonfly empress ruling over stars and constellations, stripped of her title which she regained once again. Overly enthusiastic and quite too nice for a demoness, close family relative to Kyoku herself, their relation is unsure. Vincent has encountered more rulers, but these are his most important contacts and collaborators. Together, they would try to protect the Demon Realm when humans started invading and capturing demons for their ill intentions. Vincent searched for more demons to join his army, Rina Yornibus was a blue-horned ibex demoness he's met back in the prison, she swore loyalty for freeing her and became his knight. Among his new elite team of cutthroats was Aster Hojiro, his longtime friend who supported him no matter what, a brave soldier Vincent needed so badly at his side. There was one particular man he recruited, an unforgettable mosquito deviant named Licorice Culex. (Licorice Diptera Nematocera Culex was his full name). He was an insolent pest, but a great assassin. The tyrant but needed more than just some unusual hoodlums, upon further search- he came across someone. Yami Vinterbre satisfied and met the correct conditions of an absent warrior Vincent has searched for so long. She was a rebel, ferocious and untamed, a raider with the blood of hundreds on her hands. Laughing mad and bitter at those who opposed her, a black fox who was also the Demoness of Power. An embodiment of vigorous might with a light step. Persistent Vincent insisted willfully, he doesn't give up so easily, offering Yami a place at his palace, being his right hand, his sword and eyes, but the fox is smarter than a snake, all of that was nothing but worthy of a sneer. Long story short, after a further interrogation with the rebel, Yami decided that it would only benefit her as the defiant ruler of the underground, she accepts her new position and became Vincent's royal knight.
Throughout her service at the king's side, Vincent started to develop a rather strong bond towards her, unaware of the feeling's essentiality and principle, in a lusty manner, regardless of how rude and obscene he was becoming- he wanted to make her his, to own her, have her just for himself. But who would want to marry a selfish oppressor like him? Every time Vincent proposed to her, he was turned down. Fed up with nay, he would destroy things with anger, hail in his servants for a dish, but in a somewhat pitiful way, calling in his replaceable concubines. He would have his way with them and after some fun, he'd dispose of the harlot in a way of getting a good meal. This would go on for a long time until one fateful day when humans attacked again, he was captured and sealed within the aforementioned device, later on, spending around 15 years sealed inside a human boy Oliver, despising each other.
• SWAN: Vincent's Life | The Second Act
Upon returning to the Demon Realm once again, Vincent's approach to his subjects has changed perceptibly. Even so, he still was a cruel monarch with little to remember the sense of morality, it seems the 'long time' spent in the human world broke something within him. He decided that it was about time the differences between demons and gods were buried as a shameful piece of history, and eventually formed an alliance. The gods accepted and the realms merged once again, allowing demons to live among gods and the other way around. The most prosperous era of the world's history. While sealed within Oliver, he's met Libreto Ambjörg, an eagle god and the God of Freedom sealed within a human host- Jeremy (both were already mentioned in the 1st Act of Complex). Thanks to Vincent's discovery, Libreto and him became good business partners together with the group of the demon rulers. Thanks to the alliance and Anti-CFBW on the Earth, they were capable of precluding and stopping humans damaging the world. However, something much bigger and dreadful was lurking in the shadows. By the time Vincent is informed about Chaos' presence, Yami has become the Queen and expected a child with Vincent for she has finally accepted him when she saw the gentle core of the cruel man and married him. A few years later, when their daughter is already around 7 years old, Chaos' army of terror strikes. Vincent was almost killed together with his young daughter Olivia. Nearly taking life of Yami's beloved husband and child, her snapping has caused her to gain so much power, she was able to actually purify Oliver, pull him out of his Chaos powers back into his human form, sparing him with mercy and sent him on Earth where he, finally as a mere human, returned to his family; Freya and Myuto. As for the demons, Yami's temporary condition shattered and turned back to normal. Vincent and Olivia survived their severe injuries and continued repairing the damage cast onto the realm. Peaceful once again, the world recovers from the vicious attack of Chaos. Limbo's gradual heyday brought a big change in its population and style, Vincent's feudal outfit was replaced with his iconic black suit and fluffy furry cloak. His character developed into a grumpy hissy snake, even though he's still unbelievably strong and evil. (A lot of the side characters like Aster..etc have found their partners and some of them also got a descendant, creating the very important 2nd generation of demons important in the later story). Yami and Vincent have been together for quite some time now, Olivia has gotten a bit older too- things are looking fine again if it wasn't for Victor. The 'lost' older brother of Vincent. He's been living in the Demon Realm ever since he's left little Vincent behind, surprised but aware of the situation's escalation as soon as he was informed about a new king's rise. Unexpectedly, his brother who was absolutely unrecognizable. Victor was fueled with hatred, he envied Vincent for his atrocious achievement for he was supposed to stay with the gods, not ruling the realm of demons, stealing Victor's future position fundamentally- as a child of Sin, basically a demonic prince while Vincent's throne could've become a one of a god. It became a reason why the greedy brother appeared to duel his sibling and take what's rightfully his, whilst he has had many chances to grasp the situation in his hands while Vincent was held away in the human world, there was a good matter why he wasn't able to do that. In any way, there was a clash when Victor charged at Limbo out of the blue one day. The city crumbled under the heavy force of Greed's army, nobody was prepared and the damage caused by Chaos still affected the grounding of things. Death spread. Vincent battled against Victor, trying to set things right even, but it was already too late. His opponent was strong, stronger than anything he's seen before, it was an unfair fight. Yami- power herself tried to help Vincent, but even they both being together, there was no withstanding chance although their bad wounds made it even harder. There was no other way to win in the unjust fight, hence Yami came up with a plan. She would lend Vincent her power and together, they would defeat Victor. He didn't agree at first, but being it the only chance to win, the snake devoured. Yami spoke in his mind, fighting in a union as Vincent has won and spat Yami out afterwards. Victor leaned over a rock, missing one arm, breathing heavily with teeth gritted and fist clenched. He knew he lost but refused to die by the hand of his impudent brother, throwing blame on the man, letting him know how Vincent never meant anything to him, just a pest- a burden he had to take care about. His fate was to rule-not, but to perish in solitude and woe. That's when Vincent couldn't listen to his brother's words anymore and guzzled Victor in pieces, letting out cries of bereavement, demise was brought on those who lost their minds, except for the snake. Lucky, he dodged the destiny of punishment for maybe this was his fate after all. Things have returned back to normal, nonetheless and very-very soon- the royal family is enriched with a new member. James is welcomed to the world as a rightful prince and the Demon of Death, whilst Olivia, on the contrary, is the Demon of Life.
NOTE: These were the main stories that I suppose were the most important in order for you to understand the plots. Just to add a quick important thing, Myuto, Oliver's son and Freya's step-brother - he's going to have a son named Rei who is very important in the 2nd generation story. Fast forwarding the time, Rei is met with Olivia who keeps visiting the Earth secretly, he is persecuted by the remaining residues of CFBW. Rei and Olivia fall in love with each other and one day, when CFBW attacks them, they escape into the demon realm where Rei gains his true demon form and is introduced to Vincent and Yami. They want to marry, but Vincent is a stubborn old man and hates Rei's guts for being a Quinnlan, Oliver's grandson. Eventually, they do get together and rule the place after the Queen and the King pass away by age respectfully and all of the descendants begin a whole new story of their 2nd generation. I'll do my best to quickly summarize the whole 2nd gen storyline.
• SWAN: 2nd Generation
After the first generation of rulers is replaced with young blood, the descendants take matters into their own hands. The whole region falling under its main city, the Limbo, is divided among its two young heirs. While Olivia obtains its Northern part, James takes the Southern part together with Limbo as its capital. A new set of important characters is introduced. Arya, a maid- now a Queen. Wife of James, who's been in love with her ever since he was a youth, as she orbited around him every single day for she was his maid. Rei, half-human and half-demon, son of Myuto and grandson of Oliver Quinnlan. A bearer of a gene passed on by his grandfather, awakening Rei's demonic side as soon as he has entered the Demon Realm., Yue Xingchen, the star emperor, son of Tonba and Kaike. He marries Bast, a Goddess of the Sun, Bai-Guang Hakasawa, son of Miyamoto Hakasawa and Da Ji, a Goddess. He's married to Nave later on., Netami Helix Shinju, he's the descendant of Tsumuri Shinju, however, his mother is unknown. He comes across a hurt mermaid named Haru and, yes, they will become a couple., Axohashi Hazad Shinju, son of Tsumuri Shinju and Marnie ________. An important character of a villainous archetype. Kouga Ambjörg and Alaska Ambjörg, children of Libreto and Felix Ambjörg, Kouga inherits the throne, while Alaska bonds with Omori Hojiro,(Aster's older son, brother to Ayano Hojiro and give birth by Selene Hojiro), leaving the throne to Kouga who eventually marries Ayano. Hibuki Hakasawa, daughter of Miyamoto Hakasawa and Ferva. She stays single for a long time. Nave Sonoda, daughter of Ushia Sonoda and a reaper named Kosachi - this combination created a so-called chiméra. Saburo Hakasawa is the son of Miyamoto Hakasawa and an unknown woman, he is also an important character involved in a plot. Zahl Al-Rayes, a descendant of a foreign god of sands. Seraphine is the daughter of Kyoku, it is believed Seraphine has had a bond with an underling.., (More characters that are less important). The first phase of the story deals with a plague which his spread across the Demon Realm, a virus-based disease spread through air, highly contagious, causing the death of demons in large numbers. Olivia is one of the infected. It looks like she has no chance of survival but Axohashi has developed an effective antidote, curing the land in the course of days, successfully eliminating the virus' danger. Second big phase of the story is Axohashi being a two-faced fibster, discovering his father's unfinished projects, being a talented scientist after his pattern role model- Axohashi continues inventing and spending a lot of his time creating all kinds of biological principles, experimenting with newly constructed artificial chemicals and elements. He was the only child ruling over the Empire at the time, Netami wasn't even considered an heir, nor nobody knew about him yet. But Axohashi has focused on a certain type of 'drug' he's been working on lately. It contains a certain chemical called 'treatine', which causes a change of behaviour and looks as the drug's addiction progresses. Axohashi releases the drug as his final product, calling it a 'healthy supplement' which contains important elements to help in a development of a sound mind and body. It's a fraud of course. A lot of demons and gods start to take the drug regularly, including Nave and James. Treatine starts to affect them over time, Nave stops taking the supplement but for James, it's hard to stop. Eventually, before it's too late, he does stop. Axohashi's plans are exposed and he's put into prison. An empty throne doesn't stay empty for long, Netami is quickly discovered to be another rightful heir, thus Netami becomes the new Emperor. Next big phase is Saburo, who acted alright the entire time. Sure, he was a sketchy man, but it really proved to be true when he freed Axohashi, supposedly, and tried talking Zahl into assassinating Yue. Zahl didn't do it, however, but unfortunately, Saburo and Axohashi escaped and never caught again, it's not sure yet if they stayed together as colleagues or parted ways.
NOTE: 2nd Generation is still in progress, additional scenes and events are being added and thought of, it's not fully detailed but the base plots are there. I also forgot to mention one important thing. When James got older, after claiming Limbo, he decided he would walk in his father's footsteps, and searched but the second power orb, hidden somewhere in the world. He did find it and consumed it, he thought he'd do it secretly at first, but his appearance has changed so much, it was impossible, so that's why his scleras are also black like Vincent's, and his horns' shape changed into more pointed style.

Just like at the beginning of the 2nd generation's storyline, a whole new cast of characters and descendants is once again, introduced.
