Morning Rebel
Limbo's majestic palace prevails with imperial excellence, King's military service marches in front of the solid gates of its courtyard. Trees are blooming in the streets, it's fresh Spring morning in the demon realm. Chilly and energetic, alike the brisk wild daughter running away from her maids and butlers, the palace inside is becoming lively with this troublesome sweet child. Candlesticks jump from side to side as a crowd of Olivia's vain servants try to get her to dress up properly for the breakfast in the dining hall. “Your majesty! Stop right there!” Poor Kare yells for the princess to stop. Such tiny girl, but how quick and smart this little fox is, she turns around and sticks out her tongue! Eun emits with angst ridden by such absurd behavior, Kanojo trying to force her way closer, aaand- almost catching up to her, the girl lets out a sly giggle that quickly turns into an entertained one. Quick! She has to hide somewhere. A big wooden door come in her way, fancy looking, with silky curtain around the entrance as an accessory. She slowly enters with her back pushing against the two big slabs and locks. “Haha! They'll never find me in here-” “Oh look who came” a familiar voice breaks the soothing silence from behind her, Olivia jumps and turns around in surprise. “Papa!” The girl yells out joyously. “You're late, Olivia.. again”, Vincent sighs and puts down his cutlery, throwing his usual caring but languid look at his queen sitting next to him. “Honey, didn't we tell you to listen to your maids? How come you're running around the palace still in your nightgown?” Yami chuckles upon asking the question, pointing out for Olivia to sit down. “It's fun!” The girlie vividly embraces her parents and joins them on the breakfast. “What's for breakfast?-” “Etiquette, darling, you are a royal blood and maintaining etiquette is one of your top priorities” Vincent strictly recalls. “Blah blah blah, I know! But being happy is much more important- now where is my plate, I would like to eat some toast!” Yami nods to her daughters statement, both ways sounding quite childishly wise. Clapping her hands, the servants serve Olivia her plate. “Now! No fighting at the table, Olivia, as soon as you finish eating, go dress up, alright?” Oliva grins and agrees, digging into her breakfast without thinking. Vincent will have to explain etiquette again.
Stormshard Foothills
Towards the horizon, heroes travel to the high massive mountains of the Stormshard. Crossing the valleys with pristine crystal waters, leaving Felbridge behind, embracing their new journey to the perturbing dangerous ridges of their fresh destination. Stormshard foothills with rich charming nature, they settle their camp before entering the true uphill difficulties waiting for them at the peak. The view is marvelous, “even Wolf's End is visible from here” Zet states, putting down Norden's telescope. Adri standing next to him, unpacking her things rushes to look for herself, he was right, the entire coast of Ellyria is at hand as if. Thick forests still cover most of the mountains' ridges, almost to the very top. It's an exciting thought, everyone is bonded with hope, oncoming adventures opening for them at the new dawn approaching, filled with will and power to save Ellyria once and for all. “I've never been in these parts of the mountains” Bethuel inhales the sweet smell of his home “It's a shame some people can be so blind, just like my kind, but we need to be cautious, Felbridge might've been filled with vicious bandits, but Stormshards are swarming with angered spirits from the spirit portal my tribe carelessly neglects.” “You're going to be our third eye, then!” Norden points out in humorous manner, nailing down his and Dorothea's tents. “He's right, you're the only one seeing what we can't, it's very helpful” Chow pats back of the frostbringer, Bethuel can't help but blush and shyly thank for all the compliments. Soon enough, the sun is no longer visible and the only thing guiding our group is the big bright moon, showing off Ellyria in completely different light. Mysterious and dark now, blue fireflies gather up around our heroes sitting around the campfire, discussing, overwhelmed by positivity, the nights are getting colder, but their will to continue only strengthens. The night shift for tonight was given to the white haired ice mage, let's hope he can ward off the rampaging spirits, lurking in the dark of the deep Stormshard woods. The dark aura consuming the usually peaceful spirits is alerting, it has gotten stronger since he left the Northen Rise, he's afraid that Nephit will have to wait a bit longer, bandits were apprehended but more danger awaits from the world no mere scholar can see. So it's up to him and his acquaintances to stop before it's too late, before it won't be only spirits, but humans too.
Failed Coronation Day
The front hall of the Castle Hocke, Norden remembers it so vividly, each and every corner of the royal fortress he's spent his youth dedicated to one day, become Ellyria's new king. His powerful genus, ending up with his name and two little girls, his sisters Eva and Ruby. He's seen the great family tree burst into flames just before the crown could sit righteously on his head. Traitors in mids of the Hocke's, selfish and hungry, greedy, soldiers and the king's loyal subjects turned against the royaly with bloodthirst in their eyes, a true assassination attempt? Or was there more to it, a special day ruined by the wrath of a phantom only known as Nephit. An evil entity consumed by corruption and lust for power. Creature without a form, face nor body, an embodiment of darkness and all wickedness contained within. A parasite that has spread into realms you cannot call reality, being with enough motive to destroy the universe. Same fate met Norden's family in the throne room. Holding off the masses of raging brainwashed people, vainly ended up in death of the queen and the king, absent princesses were found missing since that day, the only one remaining was himself. If it wasn't for her, for Dorothea, escaping the crumbling hell he once called home to the docks, an imperial ship waiting for him. The stress, the image of catastrophe and loss he's gone through, young prince Norden Sigmund Frederick Hocke I. vanished together with his lasting fleet in the storming Ellyrian sea, the ship never to be found. Has he fallen as a victim to Kraken? That is what the hopeless world thinks, for the heaven's frank, the boy survived. Driven by justice and passion - his mission to hunt Nephit down has just begun. Heart of gold, a spark of determination stirs within his dark chocolate eyes whenever his mind sets to remember this horrofying day, every night, the nightmares would haunt him until he's done with what the oracle predicted. Awaken, watching the stars fade until the sun turns the dark into light again, restless inside, Norden fights off the need to take revenge upon the cruel phantom, but justice is his virtue.
